28/01/2025

1. The People’s Government of Nadong District and Huaneng Tibet Yarlung Zangbo River Hydropower Development Investment Co., Ltd. signed an investment promotion agreement for the “Photovoltaic + Liquid Oxygen” source-grid-load-storage integrated project at the People’s Government of Nadong District.

    

2. The Development and Reform Commission of Zuogong County, Qamdo City, Tibet Autonomous Region announced bids for Zuogong County’s “15th Five-Year Plan” planning compilation service. 

    

3. Dingri County has built 7,733 sets of prefabricated houses and 9,941 tents and resettled 47,787 disaster-stricken people. The transitional resettlement of the disaster-stricken people in Dingri County has been completed.

1. Before the Spring Festival, a border defense regiment of the Tibet Military Region welcomed more than a hundred military relatives at the Medog Border Defense Camps, who came to visit relatives and reunited with the officers and soldiers for a reunion year.

    

2. On the eve of the Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year, Yan Jinhai, deputy secretary of the Autonomous Region Party Committee, secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Autonomous Region People’s Congress Standing Committee, and director visited and expressed condolences to the armed police officers and logistics support personnel stationed in the Autonomous Region People’s Congress.

A certain Brigade of the Tibet Military Region conducted a Combat Readiness drill during the Holiday: To effectively carry out the troops’ combat readiness work during the holidays, a brigade of the Tibet Military Region carries out a pre-holiday combat readiness drill to comprehensively test and enhance the troops’ emergency response capabilities.

Deqingpu Tailings Dam Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Tibet Deqingpu Project”) Workers at the Tibet Julong Deqingpu project of China Railway 17th Bureau Group Second Engineering Co., Ltd. are carrying out membrane laying and anti-seepage operations in a construction area at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters in Dagze District, Lhasa.

1. TAR merges Military and Civilian Grain and Material Reserve Bureau: Information based on an official procurement notice ” the Tibet Autonomous Region Military-Civilian Integration Military Food Supply Project Informationization Project Engineering Construction and System Integration Project” 

   The construction of the provincial business management platform of the Tibet Autonomous Region Grain and Material Reserve Bureau, the site system platform of 6 distribution centers (national grain reserves in Lhasa, Shigatse, Shannan, Nyingchi, Qamdo, and Nagqu,) and the informatization construction of one store in each distribution center.

    

2. On New Year’s Eve, @CCTV Military reporter walked into the Banong Zhuokang outpost of the Tibet Military Region and followed the soldiers on the patrol road of the snowy border. Banong Zhuokang means “the inn at the edge of the sky” in Tibetan. It is 5,501 meters above sea level and is located at the waist of Cho Oyu, the sixth-highest peak in the world.

    

3.  PLA soldiers at the Kunmujia outpost of a certain unit of the Tibet Military Region conducted routine patrol tasks at the No. 25 boundary stake located on the top of a mountain at an altitude of more than 5,300 meters. The Kunmujia outpost of a certain unit of the Tibet Military Region is located on the southwest border and is known as the “first outpost in the southwest”. 

    

4. During the Chinese New Year of the Snake, the “Warm New Year and Talking about Tibet” cultural exchange event was held on February 1 at the China Tibet Bookstore in Kathmandu, Nepal.

1. The Tiger Mouth Border Defense Company of the Shannan Military Division in Tibet is stationed at the southern foot of the Himalayas conducted border patrol with a Reporter from Beijing.  This mountain pass is called Tiger Mouth. There was no steel bridge before. A rope was hanging down from the side, and people used to climb up along the rope. Before the plank road was built, Tiger Mouth was the first life-and-death barrier for officers and soldiers on patrol. They needed to use several ropes to carry heavy loads and climb up. If they were not careful, they would fall into the abyss. Therefore, the Tiger Mouth Border Defense Company got its name.

1. A Unit of possibly the Shannan Military Division of Tibet Military Region organized officers and soldiers to carry out a combat readiness drill during the festival at an altitude of 4,600 meters! Possibly near the Border.

    

2. Langkazi County raised more than 1.6 million yuan to build 35 “houses of life” to achieve constant temperature and oxygen indoors in the restricted area at an altitude of 5070 meters in Tuiwa Village, Dalung Town, Langkazi County, Shannan, Tibet.
